All that matters...

Spring break was a busy, busy week for our little family. We began the week by going to visit my little sister Jamie and her family. The girls love spending time with their cousins. With Mama and Daddy serving in the temple the beginning of each week we thought it would be perfect to split our week up. A few days with Jamie on the east coast and the the remainder of spring break relaxing at the Watkins' resort.

While at Jamie's house we played on the beach, went to the park and even hired a babysitter so the Mommies could play, a.k.a shop.  Melanie, Jamie's best bud from high school, and her girls stayed over too.

Mid week we headed to my parents where the girls were in heaven.  They played, played, and played some more.  They enjoyed the beach and lake.  Dyed easter eggs with the cousins.  Lindsey brought Ryleigh and Kaylee, Amber and K.C. came too.

Saturday was the Easter Egg Hunt at my parents' ward at church. Savannah was an egg hunting pro.

Saturday night was Taylor's first Young Women's General Broadcast at church.  We met my sister K.C. and niece Amber for before and then went to hear our church leaders inspire us.  I am so excited to begin the tradition of attending this annual event with my girls.  I can't believe Taylor is going to be 12 next weekend.

Nathan was suppose to join us on Friday at my parents, but had been sick all week with the flu. He ended up staying home which totally stunk!  So Easter morning it was just me and the girls.  We missed him so much.

After church the family met at Mama and Daddy's for lunch and the annual Easter Egg Hunt.  Chad, Natalie and Chandler couldn't come because Natalie was recovering from her neck surgery.  Elaine and Courtney joined us mid lunch after driving all day from North Carolina where they had been all week taking care of her mom.  I know they had to be exhausted.

Once again Savannah was a pro at the egg hunt.  She threw her basket over her arm like a purse and went to work.

I love the traditions my family has of coming together.  We might not always see eye to eye, but at the end of the day we are family and that is all that matters!
