Sweet tooths...

Well I'm off for the next two weeks to enjoy the Christmas holiday with my family. Today was a day of treats. The first treat was when I surprised Taylor with the fact that I was watching her friend Aubrey for the day. She had no idea and was thrilled to say the least.

Then we spent the day making goodies. I think our eyes were bigger than our tummies because our sweet tooths went into overload. We made chocolate turtles, peanut butter balls, people puppy chow, spiced nuts, and yummy gooey angel hair chex mix!


Kaps, one of my Laurels from church, spent the day with us and I thoroughly enjoyed her company and help! The only downer was while I had my chef's hat on I forgot all about the photographer! Oh well, at least we got one picture to mark the occasion.

Then to top it off if we hadn't already had enough sweets we received the sweetest surprise of all, a visit from Grandma and Papa. You could say it was our "cherry on top"! (Thanks for the reminder Mom).
