Lions, tigers & bears oh my...

Alright, alright so we didn't see any lions, tigers or bears, but we did see monkeys, giraffes, elephants, camels, and zebras. Today I ventured over to the city to the west and took the kids to the zoo. Taylor was thrilled because we met my friend Kathie and her husband at the zoo; which meant that their daughter, Aubrey, was going to be there too.

Surprisingly enough we spent a good bit of time in the goats petting zoo. The older girls loved brushing the goats and the little ones weren't quite sure what to think. Kaitlyn kept telling the goats that she wasn't food.

At noon Radio Disney had a count down for the kids to the New Year. After that Taylor decided she would rather go to lunch with Aubrey and her family than stay with me and the cranky babies. So I stayed a bit longer to use up the tokens we had gotten and let Reef and Kaitlyn ride some games.

First we found our way to the air planes!

Then surprise, surprise Kaitlyn actually suggested and followed through with a pony ride.

Last, but certainly not least we found our way to the merry-go-round. Fortunately the line had dwindled down and we didn't have to wait too long for our turn. As you can see they couldn't wait for their turn.

Reef was a tiger and Kaitlyn rode the horse. I just love it when they are together (especially when they aren't cranky babies anymore).
